GLCC Coromandel Dream Ride
GLCC are running two rides concurrently. First up we have the GLCC Coromandel Dream Ride. This ride leaves Urban Jungle Café at 5:30am September 16th 2018. This is a great ride. It covers 200km along some of the North Island’s best roads. A quick stop at Miranda, for coffee and cake. The the final push, with optional stop, onto Coromandel Town. From here it’s all about beer and tall tales at the Pepper Tree.
The second ride is Finding the Holy Gravel. Catching the ferry from Auckland to Coromandel Town, at 8:45. We get to Coromandel close to 10:30. From here we head north, up to Colville. The circuit is close to 100km, with the steepest climb saved till last.
All things going right, both groups should be at the Pepper Tree by 2pm. It’s advisable to book Ferry tickets early, as they are limited for bikes, so book early.
