Chasing the dream
With less than 9 days to go until the Haute Route Alps starts, I’m getting nervous. No longer am I worried about the volume of training, as nothing I do now can be of use. I’m worried about weight, both bike and myself. It’s feeling overwhelming to not be able to relax. Perhaps I’m putting too much pressure on myself.
The ride this morning was good. Good, no great, weather. Good riding companions. And my legs felt good, no, great!
I’d just like to thank a few of the GLcc and other riders for the last 6 months. Mark, Ian, Mark (Treva Whatever), Kieran, joe, Dave, Robin, and the twins, Brice and Dylan Cameron. They’ve endured my talking, bitching and moaning, so thanks guys.
